Project Life | Travels

I was instantly hooked the first time I came across with Project Life in Michelle Wooderson's blog. I wanted to learn more about it so I started checking out other Project Lifers' sites. The more I saw their works the more I longed to have one. So, I asked my dad who lives in New Jersey to get one for me last Christmas. Upon its arrival on his doorstep, he brought it over to my sister's house. My sister showed me the box in one of our daily dose of OOVOO and I excitedly looked on as she opened the package to inspect its contents.

Now, more waiting was to be made impatiently in my end because my sister has yet to send my Project Life and other goodies for the family in the "balikbayan box" she was having shipped in my part of the world. After an arduous wait and miles of travel the package arrived in Manila last March and I finally got to hold my Project Life!

Visit me often and learn more on how I've incorporated Project Life in my everyday life. So exciting!

{Belated} Mother's Day

I know it's is done and over with, but I can't pass up not sharing with you presents I gave to my mom, mother-in-law and all the other moms in my life who've chosen this very fulfilling vocation called motherhood on Mother's Day.

Besides my usual paper creations, this year I included special treats from my kitchen to give to these amazing women.

Since I've been trying to improve my baking skills lately I decided to make these delectable Mini Citrus Rum Cakes with Cream Cheese Glaze. The recipe is very straightforward which made it very easy to follow. Most importantly I had all the ingredients on hand.

I then placed each one inside a golden laminated box which I tied with abacca twine along with my very own handmade tag.

They are like little treasure chests, precious like the recipients.

Ooohh | Baby

Yehey! Blogger is finally working after days and days of being out of commission! I've so many things to share with you. Backlogged is such an understatement.

Let me begin with these tiny cute pair of knitted socks. Aren't they just adorable?

I used them along with this matching knitted welcome banner on a Christening card I made for my friend's son.

I thoroughly enjoyed putting this one together because I rarely make cards with baby themes. Am so inspired to make some more just to have on hand. Watch out for them!
